Oddly enough. In the 80s there was 2 bands in South Florida called F that did alot of the same songs. Locals referred to this F as "punk F or Metal F" while the other was the hardcore (and frankly better) F that released "You Are an Ep" and the split with White Flag. The reason for the 2 bands was that an original F dating back to the late '70s had split and some members went to one and others to the other. Even weirder is that Mike Hasson was a member of both, playing guitar in the punk/metal F and drums in the hc F. Whew!
